Our story began in 2018 on the other side of the world – in New Zealand.
A place where kiwis roam, the mountains are majestic, and time seems to tick a little more slowly. That’s where we met for the first time.

What started as a coincidence quickly turned into something truly special.

But life didn’t make it easy for us:
After returning home, over 10,000 kilometers separated us – Julia in Germany, Eric in Brazil.

We spent four years in a long-distance relationship – filled with frequent flyer miles, even more video calls, and a whole lot of missing each other.
But also with countless special moments that showed us: it’s worth it.

In 2022, we took the big step: Julia moved to São Paulo, and since then, we’ve been living together in this colorful, noisy, wonderful city that has become our home.

We got engaged in 2025 in Peru – just like New Zealand, it was a new country for both of us, full of hikes and adventures. A fresh chapter, and the perfect start to the next stage of our journey together.

And now the time has come: In 2026, we’re saying yes to each other.​

We’re beyond excited to begin this next chapter side by side – and to celebrate it with the people who mean the most to us.
